    I used to be a paper boy. Apart from the early rises I liked doing it and the money earned came in handy. I wouldn't mind doing it again. Here rather than in the wet and cold of Scotland though.

    Me too, in Helensburgh when I was in boarding school. The head boy and I used to be up at the crack of dawn and walk into town to collect the newspapers for the school, come rain or shine.

    We used to get egg and chips as a reward. How the simple things in life were so valued in those days.
