Many years ago, my then wife and I stumbled completely unknowingly upon a nudist beach just below our camp site on the Costa Brava, Spain. It took me a while to notice if I'm honest and the Germans and Scandinavians were particularly enthusiastic!
We stayed as it was such an eye opener.

Always thought those naturists were a bit odd.
You'd never catch me outside baring my flesh. If hypothermia or sunstroke doesn't get you the insects will.

There is a nudist beach on route from Mar del Plata and Miramar, called Playa Escondida.
Fun fact: when we first drove by, the sign on the street read "playa naturista".
Since nudist beaches in Italian are called like in English (nudista), I thought that "naturista" meant natural/incontaminated (from naturaleza/nature).
I screamed in excitement begging my husband to stop and go there for our beach day, and his response was to speed away and call me crazy. It took me a while to realize which "natural wonders" we'd find at that beach!
