Maybe “Last Farewell” isn’t exactly accurate, but I didn’t see a thread called 800th Farewell.

St Francis has always been a favorite of mine. What’s not to love about someone so in tune with animals that he could calm a wolf?

But I’m just not a fan of displaying anyone’s bones. What’s the point?

No way would I stand in that queue just to look at a pile of old bones. Is there a charge to see them?

That reminds me of discussions of the extremely long queues when the “Tutankhamen’s Tomb” exhibit toured museums around the world. My sister and I scored tickets for the Chicago stop on the tour, and were prepared to wait our turn.

My uncle’s jaded response was “I wouldn’t fly to Chicago and stand in line to see that dead Egyptian if he were going to rise from the dead!”
