Yesterday, I was passing by the Potigian supermarket on Av. Córdoba 4325 and I saw the windows plastered with signs "Liquidación por cierre - último día 13/2". On my way back home, I decided to take a peek inside because my trip to Día had been unfruitful. It looked like someone had raised the supermarket. Empty shelves, stuff all over. The good stuff already gone (like Alfajores Kachafaz, white rice ercc).

The prices were too good be true: a box of Lincoln for $1000, a bag of Krachitos crisps $1000, wines for $2000 a bottle etc. It felt like it was 2014!

    Another victim of overpricing?

I've noticed here recently the large chain supermarkets are very quiet while the chinos are packed out. Guess who are always cheaper? Good for them I say.
