Did you know China made the Earth tilt?

    This is certainly unsettling. Talk about unintended consequences!

    We took a river cruise on the Yangtze in the mid-1990’s, to see the Three Gorges and villages that would no longer exist once the dam was completed. Knowing that over a million people would lose their homes and be moved to other areas by the government cast a pall on the trip. Some 1300 villages were completely obliterated.

    At that time, no one was talking about effects on the earth’s spin, although scientists clearly would have known about that.

    I've been several times to China and loved it but my first visit was over 30 years ago. I'd like to go back now just to see if the 'ordinary' people have a better life. Back then the poverty was the majority.

    I don't trust the leaders one little bit...they're worth a watching.
