Because so many Argentines are of Italian descent, I’m surprised more haven’t gone to Italy.

Salaries are very low, the lowest in the EU after Greece. In Spain, no language barrier and lower cost of living, and similar customs. The US - the American dream! Germany very good quality of life and high salaries.
The rest are in neighboring countries, plus the Jews who hold dual passports and went back to the motherland. -
serafina , this is a bit off-topic, but I’m wondering if the low salaries in Italy are matched by a lower cost of living, or if Italy’s cost of living is keeping pace with that of the rest of the EU while their salaries are not?

I've seen that infographic recently also. I don't think there's many questionable outliers there, though I did also wonder about Italy a little bit. The only other possible outlier for me would be Bolivia. It's a bordering country obviously but the number seems high to me. If economic imperative drives migration, what's going on in Bolivia I don't know about?
