From the video that's circulating it's clear that she was trying to move the car with no intention of running over the ICE official who went after her and shot her in the head.

Renee Nicole Good posed no threat to the agents whatsoever and she was simply murdered by a trigger happy servant of the dictator who showed zero remorse. The reaction of said dictator was even worse.

Now, if she had been black, the reaction would have been at the level of George Floyd five years ago, but she wasn't.

Utterly shameful and the agent should be convicted of murder.

Only because she was trying to do her part to help protect Somali immigrants who have made Minnesota, including Minneapolis, a better, varied and more interesting place to live over the past decades.

A fraud scandal has made the Somali community in Minnesota a focus of the Trump administration’s crackdown on immigrants.

GlasgowJohn , it is appalling how trump and his regime immediately put out a fabrication to blame the victim. Had they waited until the multiple videos giving lie to their tale were seen by the public, they might have crafted a less unbelievable story (though still blaming the victim, of course).

1500 soldiers of the 11th Airborne Division based in Alaska are on standby to enter Minneapolis. Using the military against your own people is quite unbelievable, but then nothing surprises any of us anymore.

Around 1,500 soldiers on standby for deployment to Minneapolis, reports say
The troops are an option should Donald Trump decide to use them to quell anti-ICE protests in the city, an official tells CBS News.

Update: today it was a white man executed by ICE or CBP in Minneapolis. Like Renee Good, a citizen.

    In this morning’s Contrarian —

“… late Saturday, Attorney General Pam Bondi wrote to Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, telling him ICE would pull out if he met a list of unrelated demands, including the release of voting files. Any shred of doubt that this had nothing to do with immigration or safety vanished in this shameful act of what amounts to extortion.”

    Yes, It’s Fascism
Until recently, I thought it a term best avoided. But now, the resemblances are too many and too strong to deny.

The hypocrisy of the current US administration is bewildering. Encouraging mass protests in Iran where thousands are shot and killed by similar weapons shown in the above, including sniper rifles, whilst at the same time, persecuting its own US citizens.

I can't think of one good reason why I would want to travel to the USA for the foreseeable future.

The Trump administration has begun buying warehouses in small towns and cities as part of its $45 billion push to rapidly expand immigration detention space. It recently purchased two warehouses — one in Hagerstown, Maryland, and another in Surprise, Arizona — for a total of $172 million. A third in El Paso, Texas, could be among the largest jails of any kind in the US, with 8,500 beds.

Ethical questions aside (because all ethics and morality have been discarded), I wonder how all this new spending on building up ICE, new detention camps, exportation of immigrants to South American and African detention camps, paying these countries to hold the prisoners, etc compares to the money Elon Musk’s DOGE team “saved?”

I think Trump has unfriended Elon long ago! This was to be expected, as there isn’t enough room for two big egos in the oval room.

Unfriended? Not at all. Trump needs the financial support of the World’s Richest Man. In turn, Musk needs the billions of dollars he receives annually in the form of government contracts.

You are right, serafina , about the colliding of their egos. But theirs is a biology textbook example of a symbiotic relationship.
