I didn't like the cameras fitted to the referees' heads, the VAR, the hydration breaks, or the halftime show. It was more about money than sport. They'd used up all their luck getting to the final. I wish they'd been more positive and attacked from the start as it might have ended better for them. It was one of the worst finals I've ever seen. It was so boring the missus fell asleep watching it.

Yep, the Argentine team let us all down. We didn't see it because I turned the TV off as soon as the ref blew the final whistle. Good for Spain, but frankly, the game was bloody awful.

The team are certainly getting hammered by the foreign press for their antics especially in the UK and quite rightly too. All a bit embarrassing, however here they don't seem to think they did much wrong. I got some flak when I told someone they played bloody awful and the best team overall won the cup.
