The idiot in chief was gunning for this prestigious prize but in the end it was awarded to Maria Corina Machado, the Venezuelan opposition leader and rightly so.

Nobel Peace Prize 2025 live updates: Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado wins
Nominations closed in January but US President Donald Trump had led a public campaign to win the award.

    Good for her.

Let's face it...it was never going to be given to Trump anyway. He'll have to wait until next year to be in with any chance. Even then, I reckon he's got no chance!!

I have no doubt that he will now slag off the Nobel committee because he has to attack unnecessarily. It's also worth noting that he and his arse-licking minions refer to it as the Noble peace prize. Ignoramuses.

This is a perfect, yet shameful example.

What we know about the charges against New York's Attorney General Letitia James
US President Donald Trump ordered his officials to pursue his political foe, who denies any wrongdoing.

He makes no secret about his intention to use the powers of government in pursuit of revenge for perceived injustices, not against the country he leads, but against his own pathetic self.

    I agree.

That's best left to the media. As has been shown around the world they're perfectly capable of opening a can of worms. Unfortunately, in some countries the media are as bad as the politicians.

In the USA, the media owners have largely been bought off through hunger for more money and/or power. Or sheer cowardice over the revenge machine.
