Forced to go shopping yesterday for a new jacket and shoes. Got the jacket but every pair of shoes I liked had white soles...even black ones!!! WTF is that all about?

    Hahaha!

UK Man , it’s definitely a trend right now. The purpose, of course, is to prompt you to replace your old ones. And then soon to replace the white-soled ones when fashion dictates that they begin to look dated. Great for the economy.

They look okay on light coloured sport shoes but ridiculous on dark dress shoes.

What's with the fashion of wearing a nice suit and ruining it by wearing Nike trainers and a baseball cap?

I was surprised to see a fashion trend among youngster in Italy that imitates the look of football player after a match, right into the finger after a shower. White sockets with swimming pool slippers, XXL shorts (alike to basketball ones), and oversized t-shirt.

This year, it seems sneakers are back (thank god), but the white socks and the rest of the outfit stayed. And it must be noted that they only wear black or white clothes. I wonder why.

For a night out, while girls changes into short dresses (usually black or white, but also purple or red), boys are still wearing the same attire. Even on the dance floor!

What is ''right into the finger after a shower''? 8|

The finger is that tunnel where athletes walk from the field to the changing room.

Thanks...first I've ever heard of it. I was thinking it was something else.

I have only ever heard it called a finger in Spanish speaking countries.

And the sports one is a tunnel ....no doubt about it!

Now explain why the one you get on your hand is called a carpal tunnel. :th_giggle01:

A tunnel makes sense as a tunnel leads to somewhere. Don't understand why they call it a finger.
