    Gets underway shortly in USA.

    Interesting bunch of teams.

Three from USA, 4 from Brazil.

Money surely isn't the reason for this....

My in-law family at large is going to the US for 10-15 days just to follow these matches. I don’t really get it. First, I thought it was just a match in Los Angeles. Then my husband explained that ever city if their tour was bound to a football match. I remember New York, Miami, Los Angeles and something else (Chicago?). Two nights at most in each location. Zero checked baggage. How will they survive? This remains a mystery to me!

Thousands of seats remain unsold for the club tournament, and FIFA officials attributed at least part of the shortfall to fan concerns about their visa status, according to the soccer official and an additional official.

Sales have been so poor that FIFA has repeatedly lowered prices. Prices on resale platforms are dropping for the opener, which features Inter Miami, a team that sold out stadiums across the country last year when the Argentine great Lionel Messi joined its roster.

All thanks to the US president and his draconian immigration policies.

No one wants to take a chance that a mercurial monarch will have his minions throw them on a plane bound for CECOT prison.

Would YOU take that kind of risk for a soccer game?

That's what it's all about for the clubs. No wonder, when you see the amount of money they have to spend on players and their wages nowadays.
