    Seems a bit ghoulish to me, walking past and peering into the coffin in which she has been resting for so long. Many of her body parts were cut off centuries ago, with her left hand being held by Gen. Franco until his eventual demise. His troops had captured it from Republican troops during the Spanish Civil War.

    Teresa of Avila died in 1582 and was canonised in 1622.
