The editor of The Atlantic news site was 'accidentally' included in a Signal text chat about attacking the Houtis in Yemen.

In a press conference, the president knew nothing about it. Heads must roll for this incompetence.

The Trump Administration Accidentally Texted Me Its War Plans
U.S. national-security leaders included me in a group chat about upcoming military strikes in Yemen. I didn’t think it could be real. Then the bombs started…

Amateur Hour at the Dept of Defense.

That this happened is horrendous. Hearing the denials and excuses from the Best and Brightest tests our ability to ever believe another word they say.

    Apparently experience IS important.

Mr. Hegseth, a former National Guard infantryman and Fox News weekend host. Now the secretary of defense. Not surprising he made this type of security and compliance mistake. He has no experience for the job. He is one of the many inexperienced people Trump has placed as leaders to blunder and eventually destroy a functioning government.

For the past 2 days, instead of acknowledging that they’d royally screwed up, requiring resignations, and then moving on. The Gang That Can’t Shoot Straight has increasingly denigrated and blamed the Atlantic’s editor-in-chief, as if he had somehow been the one who put his own name on the list.

Why would they want to not only blame him but run the usual play of smearing him as a no-talent lying leftist set on attacking this administration? Surely they wouldn’t want to give him even more reasons to expose this gang of incompetents?

But they persisted, in increasingly shrill attacks. And today, Jeffrey Goldberg has released the transcript from the conversation about which they have claimed he exaggerated.

The Atlantic publishes full Signal chat messages showing military plans about U.S. strikes in Yemen
Trump administration officials said no classified information was shared in a group chat that inadvertently included The Atlantic's top editor.

Apparently even performing monkeys can be trained to memorize talking points as well as tactics on deflection, attack, and blaming the media, the messenger, and the Biden administration.

Not surprising that this group found something even easier to hack. All this WINNING is becoming so tiresome!
