    Hi Everyone,

I am a psychotherapist and I will be traveling around Argentina and seeing patients via telehealth. I am going to need to make sure I have reliable internet as I am moving around. I know that sometimes I will be able to use Wifi provided by a hotel or something that we might stay it but overall, I am going to need my own reliable connection.

Any suggestions? Anyone know the best way to go about this?

I was doing a preliminary search and it appears that Claro and Personal have options.... help!

    Welcome dbaied

We use Claro 4g and it's excellent with some 5G coverage in BA.

No idea what the service is like in the remoter parts of the country but out here in the pampa getting wifi is rarely a problem.

You should get sim cards from at least those two providers, and as a backup Movistar as well. Movistar is generally the least reliable in rural locations. As a tourist you will only be allowed a prepaid service, which cost nothing or almost nothing until you top up for more GB. Top-up at some kioscos or at many supermarket cashiers with pesos. Only get the sim in the real office in the city, not some independent agent or kiosco at the airport! A dual sim phone or 3 phones is a good idea.

If you are traveling all around the country there is a good chance you will often be without cell service. You will be lucky to find decent wifi at the hotel or town public wifi in the center plaza. Gas stations often have comfortable sitting restaurants with wifi. YPF stations, or the YPF Full are even better. Research places you are going to perhaps find a coworking office, though not common in towns.

Actually, I find the cell service in Argentina is way better than in the UK, which is appalling.
