A long time friend of my wife, a well respected heart doctor has always insisted we take an aspirin a day to help blood flow so we do. Now it seems it could help cancer from spreading as well. 
I didn’t see the recommended dosage, but for years, cardiologists in the USA have recommended a daily 81mg aspirin rather than an “adult dose” of 240mg, which is more likely to cause such side effects as acid reflux and internal bleeding.
Perhaps the larger dosage is used for cancer prevention, balancing the positives and negatives? I’d like to know.

One of the 1st medication along with Metopolo, after heart stints 20 years ago!!! Just had
to go through Gal Bladder surgery, other than that and being 77, feel fairly well!!!
