He is apparently still in a critical condition, but is feeling better today.

A question I and many have been asking is why has he has not returned to visit his home country in all these years. It can't be a political decision because we've had three different flavours of government since he became pope. Yet his first state visit was to Brazil, just up the road and many feel insulted by his absence.

I'm not his biggest fan, but all the same, I wish him a speedy recovery.

Pope Francis 'critical' in hospital, but ‘night went well’, Vatican says
The pontiff is in good humour and eating normally though he remains "critical", Vatican sources say.

Adri is simply disappointed in him for numerous reasons, especially since he appears to have been on the K side all along.

I don’t know about the political part, but I have always admired the simple way he lived, using public transportation instead of a limousine and driver, cooking his own meals, etc.

And trying to give voice to the very poor.

In Buenos Aires , he lived a simple life but he believed everything that the Ks told him without questioning them. Especially the leaders who were robbing the poor.
