Using mobiles abroad?

The missus was asking me regarding using our mobiles in the UK. I suspect we'll use them mostly for wifi rather than phoning anyone. As it's been so long since we used them outside the country I told her it'd probably be best to ask the phone companies Movistar and Personal.

Any idea?

I have free roaming within the Americas.

When I was with Movistar, I also got roaming in Europe.

In big cases there is a daily limit but with wifi almost everywhere now , it's more than enough.

As soon as we get to Hereford, we go to a Vodaphone or O2 shop and buy a £10 sim card and it never seems to run out.

They put the card in for you, job done!

She can phone both companies and find out what's included in our monthly packages. If nowt we'll head for mobile company shops in the UK.
