I even got a mention and I think It's fair to say that the Yahoo group BA Newcomers, which at one stage was attracting around 700 messages per month, has been superseded by social media.

Very interesting to see the prices in pesos of 10 years ago.

I wonder how property prices, which are expressed in USD, changed. Did they follow the depreciation of the pesos? Or was the reale state market completely independent?

Also, how long after the crisis did the real estate market blew?

I had forgotten all about that site, which I remember finding very helpful. Since they are no longer around, it could be useful to update some of their alphabetical list of practical information and put it out for use by expats -
