Trans woman/man wins case to freeze their sperm to be a 'mother'.

    I still get confused when the term 'trans woman' is used, especially when the person concerned still has all their male atributes.

    This particular trans, Sofia, from Junin, was undergoing hormone treatment to become more female, but the side effects are many, including infertility and are irreversible. But what got me was that she/he wants to be a mother, so won the case against her medical insurer (which initially refused) to have the sperm frozen.

    So if Sofia uses their sperm with IVF, presumably with a surrogate mother, would that make Sofia a father? This particular subject can be very confusing and for me, is not the natural way of things as far as nature is concerned, in my humble opinion.

    I don't really care how anyone chooses to dress or if they take hormone treatments. I'm okay if they want to lop off body parts they don't like. I'll even address somebody by whatever name they want to go by.

    But there does come a point when enough is enough. Don't expect me to think or say you are a man or a woman when clearly your chromosomes say different.

    If Sofia produces sperm, Sofia is a man.
