The death toll in the shocking tragedy in New Orleans has risen to fifteen and it's now being treated as a terrorist incident with an IS flag found in the dead attacker's rented vehicle.

I Las Vegas a Tesla Cybertruck containing explosives and petrol cans exploded outside Trump Hotel. In both cases the driver ended up dead.

Police probe if blast at Trump hotel is linked to New Orleans attack
President Biden said "any possible connection" was being investigated, but "thus far, there is nothing to report".

The Tesla incdent is a strange one. Doesn't come across as being 'terrorist' related.

The Daily Mail is reporting both bombers served on the same military base, and both used the same app (Turo) to rent their EVs.
If they are not related, that's weirdly coincidental.

Good thing I'm not a conspiracy theorist.

Living a block and a half from where the killer crashed yesterday morning, we are hoping for some answers. Harder when the killer is dead.

Thanks, daniel . It has been years since I liked to hang out on Bourbon Street. Now the vibe is much younger; the music blasting out of the shops and bars is not at all my taste. So I often walk across it but it’s never my destination.

New Orleans is just beginning several months of very heavy tourist visits, starting with the College Football playoff game (Sugar Bowl) today, through the Super Bowl in one month, Mardi Gras season in Feb/March, French Quarter Festival and Jazzfest in April/May. Before now, tourist season meant only an onslaught of extra people in the French Quarter. But now, we will be concerned about more than just the occasional disorderly visitor.
