A green space opened recently in Palermo!
We saw the corner area between Gurruchaga & Nicaragua being under renovation for a while, and it was a breath of fresh air to realize it was to create a new Moroccan-themed garden instead of yet another concrete-and-glass building.
The Morrocan garden is on Gurruchaga y Nicaragua and was sponsored by the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco which donated two fountains and brought over artisans for the Moroccan mosaics.
We have visited it recently and it is adorned with several plants. The only negative is that there is no shade at all, and the long concrete seating area become scorcing under the hot summer sun.
