Looks like this year will be the lowest number of intentional killings of women in Argentina in the last ten years.

Or maybe there were fewer left?
In turns, in Italy the news have been reporting more and more femicides. And I am not talking about extreme cases like people from different cultures that can’t stand their women (wives and daughters) adopting western customs.

I am appalled by the apparently average men killing and stalking their exes.

I've always found Argentine women to be far more mature than Argie men. Hopefully they're now standing up for themselves and fighting back?

I just wonder if Mileis plan to get rid of all these crazy organizations that were meant to protect women's rights actually got rid of a lot of trouble makers who instead of helping people actually created more conflict.

GlasgowJohn , I apologize in advance for the dumb question but I am still recovering from last night’s celebration.
How were those associations getting rid of trouble makers?
And why did it create more conflict?

serafina , I think those organizations merely gave well paid jobs to the boys with the right party credentials or in this case the girls. I don't think they did anything at all in support of women's rights. We have seen several cases in the past few months where senior politicians have been accused of mistreating women , starting of course with the former President.

As Milei got rid of these organizations, this involved have had to go and look for other ways of earning cash and have been unable to cause trouble in their normal environmenta.

Or the cynical thinking is perhaps now this year the true number of femicides did not get investigated properly. They got quickly dismissed as missing, accident, or murdered for some other reasons. Now that the police do not have awareness or pressure from federal government to properly do their job.
