Milei is now Italian.

    Milei and his sister have been given Italian citizenship. Current italian prime minister Giorgia Meloni made the announcement last night.

    Half the population here must have Italian or Spanish ancestry. A fair % of which will qualify for one or t'other passport.

    Mrs GlasgowJohn has a Spanish passport as her mum was the daughter of a civil war refugee. In addition to her Argie passport

    My son has one as well . In addition to his UK and Argie passports.

    I lived in Spain for two spells , 3 years and then 17 years. I could have got Spanish nationality but didn't bother. If only I had forecast the mess that was going to happen with Brexit....

    Usually takes 24-36 months to complete the process. They were fast tracked.
    It is good marketing for Italy. Many people might pay the $300 EU processing fee and still never move there, which is common for ansectors in USA too.
