U, formerly UKTV - is it free?

    It says it's a free streaming service with some great British TV shows as well as some popular US fare, including Madam Secretary.

    But it's only available in the UK, apparently, so I'll see if I can slide around that.

    Asking a family or friend, who lives in UK, to install Tailscale mesh VPN will solve the issue. You install too. Then you as the administrator of the free plan configure their device as an Exit Node which will direct your traffic out thru their ISP, without concern of having access to their machine or home network. It is very easy for most cases.

    By default, you will have access to their machine and home network. That might cause friend/family concern unless you are also acting as their occasional tech support. Setting to be Exit Node will remove that access and also redirect your traffic to be the same as their internet traffic. There are other more technical steps to never allow you to access their home machine or net.
