Yes - afraid I got a bit lost towards the end of the post? I’d be glad to help with any questions you have. I’m glad you’ve discovered Argentina!

Are you looking for places to go within the city or outside the city?
We just spent a day in San Antonio de Areco and nearby towns with a friend also from Liverpool, but you need a car as public transportation is minimal and the ride is already long. Nothing much to do there but sit back, have a steak, and relax.

Apologies. I knew when I wrote it something was wrong.
ThorntonHall makes the triangle even more exciting....

I have friends who live in Wishaw which I found to be a bit drab to be honest.

Closest I've lived to Thornton Hall was Clarkston. During the time of the gas explosion.

Only been there once. It's even more miserable on a pissing wet day!!

Wishaw is drab on the sunniest day in summer

The mum of a guy in my class at school dies in that explosion. Still horrific to read about it whenever it gets wheeled out in the Daily Record.

My mother was there earlier that day and had smelt gas. When I arrived home from college she was waiting outside and said thank God you're okay which I thought was odd. She told me something's happened at the shopping centre so I went and had a look. I couldn't believe what I saw.

Iived in Rhu, near Helensburgh as my Dad worked at Faslane. Lovely part of the world and it's also where I learned to sail.

Yes it's very nice. Hard to believe it's so close to the bustle of Glasgow.
