The USS Edsall, called “the Dancing Mouse” by the Japanese navy, was found last year, 81 years after being sunk in the months following Japan’s attack on Pearl Harbor. During the past year, it was identified and the announcement was made yesterday, on Australia’s Remembrance Day.
