    Looks to be pretty bleak....

    To be honest storms like that were quite common during all my years in Scotland. More common in winter maybe.

    The media do tend to go OTT in order to cover themselves should it turn out to be really bad. They'll no doubt blame global warming.

    Yet another storm heading for the UK. This one really does look bad.
