I did keep an eye out for it between 4 PM and 4:30 PM. It was cloudy, so I only noticed a lower luminosity. Serafina was also super tranquil and we were watching TV together.
We were messing about in town at that time. There was the odd cloud about which brought some shade every once in a while however it was mostly sunny. I think the BBC have it wrong. There was a small partial eclipse in BA and here not a ''ring of fire'' as reported. That happened elsewhere in the country.
