Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) fee

    I guess it makes sense to ask visitors to your country to pay for improving the country’s security?

    The UK is about to levy this fee on business and tourism travelers from many countries. The USA is also requiring an Electronic System of Travel Authorization (ESTA), and Europe is expected to follow this trend.

    Has this affected any of you yet? Are the ETA /ESTA permits quick and easy to obtain?

    The ESTA system works quite well and you get your approval within 48 hours.

    I understand that the UK and the Euroepan systems will be as quick. But until they are up and running we will not know.
