This attack by a 17 year old boy which left thee small children dead and others critically injured is incomprehensible.
Being familiar with Southport due to my sister's family as well as my mother having lived there for years it was even more shocking to hear the news coming in. 
Yes obviously I know the town too. Shocking and upsetting. The pain for the families is unthinkable.

Mainly right wing nutcases on social media, blamed immigrants. In the UK, under 18s can't be named. How these nutjobs ever managed to obtain the name is beyond me, but the police have claimed that isn't the person who they arrested, and not going to give out names for legal reasons
