Rice imagine just now if the worst happened. One candidate dead and the other not really with it.

What a moment in history it would have been.

    It’s bad enough obviously

I haven’t followed US media today but the nation must feel really rocked by this.

I’m clearly not happy with the situation the democrats are in. But at least Biden hasn’t tried to overthrow the government or promised to rip apart the constitution.

Let’s face it: the voters right now have a choice between an old man and an old, crazy would-be dictator. Tell me how this gets worse for the country?

But his cognitive abilities are shockingly poor. Harris needs to invoke the 25A, otherwise, the shit show will happen soon as no one would take the USA seriously

You nearly didn’t even get that choice. Doesn’t that concern you?

To repeat what I said it years ago. If that's the best two candidates either party can come up then one has to wonder. It's comical to see.

Now that psychos know the US security service aren’t up to scratch then we can expect more of the same Id suggest.

I’m not rejoicing in it. I’m shocked.

I see there's talk that as it was Trump security wasn't up to scratch ''on purpose''.....hopefully that's not true.

Well that article seems to acknowledge some issues but focuses in on a lack of resources it seems.

Well the resources on duty failed and that is that.

What a strange turn of events. The person that got killed, tweeted something awful about Gaza

"Some watching videos of the shooting pointed to the outer ring of security as the gaping flaw. A well-respected countersniper agent ultimately killed the suspected shooter within seconds of him firing."

If he already had him in his sights, why did he not shoot him seconds before he fired the fatal shots?

The assassin may have unwittingly propelled Trump straight into the White House. The image of him pumping his fist into the air while blood streaks across his face with the backdrop of the US flag, literally moments after he was grazed by the bullet, is very powerful. It will strike a chord like no other with his followers. Of that we can be sure.

That’s a very powerful image. I imagine the photographer will get some money in the bank for that.
