Wow. I wonder if a person would have to sell his house, or merely his car, in order to buy a ticket?

Amazing news. I know the Beatles never played here so this is big news.

Edit: I didn’t realise he was here before.

I know he's a legend, but on his own, he doesn't do much for me. His music with Wings wasn't too bad, although Lennon described it as 'elevator music'.

His voice isn’t great these days. But Hey Jude seems to make sure everyone goes home happy

Lennon and McCartney famously had a long-running rivalry over the songs they wrote for the Beatles. I’m not surprised that Lennon sniped at McCartney. Their music differed greatly, but each was very gifted - - and McCartney still is.

I’m a big Beatles fan and always have been. Just one thing that’s astonishing is the musical development in such a few short years between 1962 and 1971.

To take themselves from Love Me Do to Let It Be in 9 years or so is astonishing. Think of bands these days over a similar period.

There are many artists I enjoy from every decade including the current one. Regardless I will never go see any of them live at a stadium, since the sound is terrible and the vibe is not enjoyable.

Are the tickets refundable? A lot can happen to an 81 year old between now and October.

Adri's lad has just bought tickets whereas I'm spending a similar amount on a new tyre for the bike.

Just got a message from the Santander / they are giving me 6 interest free instalments.

I am writing back to see if that instalment plan applies to beer as well.

No worries! I’ll just buy lottery tickets and when I win, we’ll all have those $1.234.250,00 Hot Sound tix, and will arrive with Sir Paul in stretch limousines.

The notion of an 80 something year old man selling out the River Plate stadium is quite something. Ticket prices are interesting though

Have you seen Ringo lately? He looks in very good shape.

I see he plays Buenos Aires on the 5th and Cordoba on the 23rd. I assume he’s heading to Uruguay or Chile in between?
