I enjoyed quite a few years in Malaga.
I do enjoy living here. However I still feel very much an outsider.
Rice if you were to head to Europe for say 3 months in one place where would you choose?
If it wasn't for the language, somewhere in Germany and during summer. I like the food, they're keen on beer as much as I do, it is safe, green, and all about wellness (outdoors activities, thermal baths, culture etc.)

If I was forced to choose a country to live in other than the UK it would definitely be in Europe. Ireland probably.
Germany is a wonderful country and the locals tend to speak better English than most Brits!
I haven’t been to Germany for far too long and I look forward to going again.
My last recollection is bloody good beer in Dusseldorf.

I have spent some time at my cousin’s in Stuttgart and I was impressed by the quality of life. This both coming from Argentina and Italy. The oddest account is that she had an Argentinian friend living there and a fervid Peronist. WTF?!

In 2018 we stayed the night in Concarneau, France on the Brittany coast and fell in love with the place. It's on the wild Atlantic coast, the weather is slightly better than in England and it's in France. I'm a Francophile at heart and given the choice between France and Spain, the former wins hands down, for me anyway.
It's also close to the UK, so visiting my family would be easy. Not a 13 hour flight, but just a hop over the Channel.
