I understand your excitement! It's true that qualifying through the Nations Cup backdoor for the 2020 Euros, which actually took place in 2021 due to COVID, doesn't feel the same. But now, finally qualifying normally after so many years is a huge achievement. And starting with an easy opening game against the Germans makes it even better! For your travel needs in Germany, consider using https://airporttaxis.com/airport-transfer/germany/ for a smooth and convenient experience.

I haven’t even looked at the groups and who plays who.

If I remember correctly after the 1978 World Cup finals here in Argentina, there was a significant number of Scotland fans who never went home.

I suspect a few stayed but not as many as some people make out.

This is an intersting wiki piece.

''A Scottish Argentine population has existed at least since 1825. There are an estimated 100,000 Argentines of Scottish ancestry, the most of any country outside the English-speaking world. Scottish Argentines have been incorrectly referred to as English.''

UK Man and myself did not come with the 1825 guys or the 1978 guys.

@Bombonera , I just noticed the Scottish flag next to your photo- is that new?

Many of us thought he was God and we joined his Tartan Army.

On this day in 1977, he became the Commander In Chief.

A few months later we were to learn that God does not exist.

In case you don’t know, Scotland beat Gibraltar 2-0 away today in a friendly.

Their last pre tournament friendly is on Friday at Hampden Park v Finland.

A brilliant victory against the Rock Stars!!

The game was played in Faro on the Algarve by the way, as the Gibraltar Stadium is too small to hold the huge crowd .

I am sure the Germans will be trembling in their football boots when they see the highlights.

Meanwhile here is the BBC report

Gibraltar 0-2 Scotland: Winless run ends in Euro 2024 warm-up
Head coach Steve Clarke says Scotland "just need to find the final finish" before Euro 2024 after labouring to victory against Gibraltar.
