Two of the chaps in our pipe club are into electric guitar playing, Marcelo especially. He's always playing gigs. I've seen several vids of him and he seems to be very good at it. I know bugger all about it right enough.

Started playing using a Sears and Roebuck Silvertone six string flattop, around 14yrs of age!!! I now play a flattop and a electric six string and sometimes a 12 string, can also keep rhythm, playing a bass guitar. Play in Church as often as I can!!!

Good for you daniel. I've always thought playing any musical instrument properly is something that comes naturally. You've either got it or you don't.......I'm the latter.

My husband's instruments are collecting dust next to my desk. I want to move the cat tree to have Serafina by me while I work (right now, she gladly accepting all the heat that my Macbook is dissipating, but I am not sure this is good for the electronics). He replied "Where are we going to put my guitar, bass, and keyboard?"

I had no answer, so they are still there. Including Serafina
