Foreigners who sing in English

  • There's something about singing in English when the singer isn't English. The accent in the song, the inflections, heck, everything.

    Bacarra is a great example because both ladies are Spanish and their accent is so clear, which is lovely. I like it when singers retain their native accent. Bowie did that almost always, but somehow they have to be French or Spanish, or maybe even Dutch.


    Vanessa Paradis is French but I can't find her singing in English with that wonderful French accent.
