Putin has gifted a Rolls Royce knock-off to Kim Jong Un of North Korea, because they are now best mates.

The Aurus Senat: Vladimir Putin's 7200kg counterfeit Rolls-Royce limo
It might look like a Rolls-Royce, but this is a seven-tonne knock-off of the real deal.

How nice for murderous dictators to be able to count on having “bulletproof armour, reinforced glass, bomb-resistant underfloor protection, solid 'run-flat' rubber tyres, integrated "offensive" weapons, and a self-contained oxygen supply”

The only beasts around my neck of the woods are the drivers. We were waiting behind a bus at the lights yesterday when a f'ng twat in an old Corsa tried to squeeze between us and the parked cars so he could beat the bus. He was literally an inch away beside us. The missus gave him a mouthful and he backed off.

They prefer to keep camera infractions a secret?

On the way to Gatwick and along the A40, we stopped for a break and spotted this beautiful Aston Martin Vantage, my dream car.

    What a beauty!

New Ford Raptor F150 3.5 V6 is USA is around US50,000.

Very similar Raptor in Argentina is around US$126,000.

Car prices here are just insane.

Is that because the demand for cars as an inflation hedge is so great?

What the holy fuck was Jaguar thinking when it decided on this horrific rebranding exercise? I've owned two Jaguars and while they might be considered old school, they have a pedigree that is legendary.

So the company wants to appeal to a younger audience? Fine, but jumping on the woke bandwagon is not the way to go. It's an insult to the founders of Jaguar, yet the company insists that we will all eventually see things their way.

    I don't think so.

Must admit I didn't know they were still producing. My old man had a red Jaguar in the 60's. I'm amazed he didn't kill us all as he drove like a maniac especially when pissed. =O

This matter has had quite heavy media coverage.

But why are so many people triggered by the branding decisions of a corporate entity?

If you are a shareholder you have a voice. If not what are you bothered about?

Splinter , what the hayull is WOKE about changing the look of Jaguars from classic to unattractive?

We had a 1993 XJS , Grosvenor Brown, that we adored. Wouldn’t buy anything that looks like the picture you posted, but only because that is frying pan ugly. Not because of wokeness.

I went to the trouble of getting a driving licence. But I’m stone cold about what triggers the passion of car owners about this or that mechanically-propelled vehicle.. I don’t get it.

Could be an age thing? I'm not a car driver but fondly remember the makes of cars that were around when I was young. Now I couldn't give a stuff about any of the cars around today. The missus still harps on about wanting a Land Rover.

The 30 second promo video bears no relation to cars whatsoever.

Of course I have a voice and I'm bothered because the rebranding of a legendary car company should relate to the products the company produces, not some fugly woke agenda.

Could it all be just a teaser campaign to make sure we pay attention to the full launch when it finally happens?
