It’s Saturday. Are you a hurkle-durkler?

Scottish people have such a rich language!

My first trip abroad was to Scotland. I was so lost that I anticipated my return flight back home.

Answering to your question, Rice , I am not a hurkle-durkler. When I wake up, I like to cuddle against Serafina (who sleeps against my legs) but this last 1-2'. Then she is up and leaves the bed, and so do I. She is always the last one to come to bed, and the first to get out of bed.

I love to hurkle-durkle. Just never knew there was a name for it.

Well this Scotsman has never even heard of it. It's not something I've ever done anyway to be honest.

I threw this word to my three sisters and only the English teacher ( the eldest) had heard of it.

Certainly not common usage in the Glasgow conurbation
