The long time critic of Putin was jailed in a move that inevitably condemned him to death either by accidentally tripping over or health issues perpetrated by the system that wanted him dead anyway. He had already been poisoned by the Russian state and sought treatment in Germany, but returned to Russia where he was immediately arrested and put in prison.

One more opponent of Putin eliminated.

    Quote

In a statement, the prison said he had "felt unwell" after a walk on Friday.

He had "almost immediately lost consciousness", it continued, adding that an emergency medical team had immediately been called and tried to resuscitate him but without success.

"The emergency doctors declared the prisoner dead. Cause of death is being established."

Par for the course there. If they don't kill you in a plane crash they'll get you some other way.

He was an incredibly brave man who loved his country and gave his life for it. Putin’s earlier attempts at assassinating him failed - barely - but the prison system is much more firmly under his control.

Russia’s presidential election is one month from now, on March 15-17. Such coincidental timing!

And Putin referring to Ukraine as a Nazi state when he himself is emulating the most infamous Nazi leader.

Russia just retook the Ukraine city of Avdiivka before dawn today. The overpowered, outgunned Ukrainian soldiers had to completely withdraw, surrendering the former city of 30,00, now a ruin, which had been one of their military strongholds for years.

[Thank you, US Republican Representatives, who refuse to vote for Ukraine aid.]
