What a remarkable man Peter Butterworth was! I was never a fan of the Carry On films, but I never knew this.
Carry on Camping was my favourite.

I was only 12 when I went to the cinema to see it. So they obviously thought Babs with the paps wasn't X-rated.

I had NO idea. What a hero he was! (And wasn’t cast in the movie because he didn’t look like a prisoner?!)
Great storyteller, too! I enjoyed that very much.
