    Greetings -

Any recommendations where you can buy a day pass to a nice outdoor swimming pool? Private or Hotel perhaps? Thanks.

    Hi Splinter -
I'm in Recoleta, but I am happy to travel to any "nice" and/or upscale environment. Thanks

I believe the Sheraton has a daily pass to access their outdoor pool, but I can't find any information about it on their website: https://www.marriott.com/en-us/hotels/b…er/experiences/

Thanks Serafina. Luckily I have Marriott Platinum status, so that might help as well... or maybe not :)

I guess you can thank me by making me your +1 :D

They should also have sauna and indoor heated pool, if I recall correctly. I have never been myself and the information I have is pre-pandemics, so I am not sure if they are still offering the day pass.

Jonathan Just show your card to the pool attendant and say you are waiting for your room to be ready.

Good idea Bombonera, except I'm looking for someplace that I can return to repeatedly. Not just a one off.

Besides, I've been an outlaw for too long and am looking forward to becoming legit these days.

Not sure about your budget, Jonathan , but I came across Isla El Descanso looking at a documentary on Amazon Prime and they offer a day stay for $250/person (that’s uncle Sam’s money) that includes private transportation by boat, 3 course meal and access to the pool and other facilities.

In 2005 I turned up at the Hurlingham Club with my 1976 membership card and they let me in!

What a find, serafina ! If I had unlimited budget, I’d be there in a flash. Wouldn’t that be fun!

And the 3-course meal would be great incentive for swimming for about 3 hours nonstop -

In spite of no swimming signs along the river coast from Vicente Lopez to San Isidro, everyone ignores them, not surprisingly. Even though this is the crap that is strewn all over the so-called beaches.
