Today I went to the supermarket in the car with Adri and I asked her to drive, simply because I can't stand driving a car anymore. Mind you, if we had a decent set of wheels, I may think differently, but you get my drift.
There's a lot of bullshit spoken about why we ride bikes, but the common denominator is the freedom and the disconnect from the humdrum. Yes, it's dangerous, but then so are many other aspects of life, such as crossing the road.
Perhaps that's why I sometimes ride even when I don't feel like doing much at all.
