I’ve been looking online, but haven’t found a definitive answer to this:

Does Argentina require that visitors’ passports be valid for six months after their ENTRY or six months after their EXIT from the country?

If anyone has an answer, please also give me a link to the source? Thanks!

There is no timing specified here: https://www.argentina.gob.ar/interior/migra…is-como-turista

Most countries expect you to arrive with a passport which will still be valid by the time you, as a tourist. as supposed to leave, i.e. 6 months. However, in Schengen the duration is actually 90+90 and most people simply leave schengen for a day or two to reset the counter (the European version of the "Colonia run" of here).

this information is for a british passport.

    Passport validity requirements

If you are visiting Argentina, your passport should be valid for the proposed duration of your stay. If you are a resident in Argentina, your passport must be valid for entry.

I haven't a clue when mine expires. Shall have to ask the missus where it is and have a look.

Most countries allow for the time that you're in the country, but the EU require at least 3 months before a passport expires.

Good to know in case we change plans and go to Antwerp instead of Buenos Aires in December!

Thank you for the support!
