I think people once cared passionately, then as the years went by, they gave up caring. Perhaps traded that emotion for just wanting the Kirchners gone.

He's doing exactly that and he's not a career politician by any means. He's an economist by trade.
Milei promised, in his election campaign, to shake up the system, shrink the state, close the central bank and dollarise the economy. He's made good on most of his promises but the last two are going to prove much more difficult to achieve.
People don't like change, especially the fat cats, those who have been living off the state for decades and those who take a salary from the state and don't even show up for work.
It's a scandalous situation which Milei is tackling head on.
