A judge in New York has rejected Argentina's appeal over the $16bn and Burford Capital may well begin seizing Argentine assets, wherever those assets may be.

I think we all remember that the frigate, Libertad was held in Ghana under embargo back in 2012 thanks to Paul Singer of Elliot Management (vulture fund).

Most were hoping that with a change of government, a little leeway may have been forthcoming, but no, history is repeating itself.

Who is getting what they deserve? It was the poison dwarf, Kicillof that set this up and Milei and crew now have clear it up.

They don't need this effing headache right now, so I don't know why you should say that.

    Argentina.

I disagree. It's the politicians that have fucked up this country who should be getting what they deserve. You live in this country, as do I.

Milei is considering a tax named after the idiot who privatised YPF and it's to be called The Kicillof Tax.

I've got sympathy for those who are trying to clear up the mess. However the mess was left by politicians who were voted into power more than once by the Argentine people.

This country needs a good kick up the arse now and again.

It's getting the kick up the arse you refer to in case you hadn't noticed.

And as for voting cretins into power, you have to remember that the Peronists use populist tactics to get the vote, such as free everything, which is why we are in this mess.

Not all of us deserve the government we live under.

    I had noticed.

It's time for this country to grow up and not expect to be given favours every time it needs bailed out. There are many other countres in the world far more deserving.
