Yes, there's at least one video knocking about online (I think I saw it on Tiktok taken by a passenger.) The airline has grounded its fleet of this aircraft.
-
And the NTSB has ordered all the Max planes in the US to be grounded.
-
Is this the model of plane that had a problem with sudden crashes caused by software problems?
-
I don’t know. Now THAT’S a scary thought -

This is a slightly later version but basically the same aircraft.
The problem seems to be in this case the structure has been weakened as the airline elected to remove a door from the initial design - this was replaced by a sort of patch.
More shit will hit the fan as BOEING has been pressing the FAA to extend a special waiver to allow them to present definitive safety work on another model of the same aircraft - they are nowhere finished the safety work and it looks like they will be with a ban that will not allow them to deliver new planes of one of the 737 versions.

Watch this and come to your own conclusions.
-
According to the BBC, it is indeed the same plane model that was involved in two crashes
-
I’d say Boeing has some ‘splaining to do. And not just about how uncomfortable the 737 Max is.
-
No passengers were sucked out I see.
-
Apparently a young lad closest to the door had his shirt sucked off him. Crazy.
-
No passengers were sucked out I see.
Considering the passengers may have had their seat belts on at the time, they had just taken off when the part of the plane ripped off
-
They found loose bolts on some planes
Boeing 737 Max 9: United Airlines finds loose bolts during inspectionsThe airline finds installation issues, including bolts in need of "tightening", during checks of Boeing planes.www.bbc.co.ukWhich begs the question of the sloppy maintenance routine by workers and management. Glad this didn't result in deaths, but its been well known in the past that things like this have caused tragedies far too often
People are paying a lot of money for what they hope is to travel safely from A to B
-
Sloppy maintenance or disastrous designs?

Sloppy maintenance or disastrous designs?
I'm veering towards it being the latter.
