I last visited about 15 years ago on a two day business visit .
My recollections of the worlds most southernmost city are positive
It has a big duty free store downtown which has fairly decent prices . I think that is still the case - it is managed by the company who runs the big store in Puerto Iguazu , close to the Argentine border post.
Unfortunately I cannot remember the places where I ate - too long ago and too many dinners and lunches since then
I've always wanted to visit there even years before I was abducted by an Argentine female. We would have gone by now if it wasn't for the dogs. Definitely worth a visit just to get it off your places to see list.
It has been on my list. Still have not gone that far south.
A mate of mine, the same chap who rode down to Madryn with me is just on his way back from there, via Trevelin.
