After the recent public unveiling of union leaders making fortunes, the current government is proposing that union leader should make public their earnings and their worth, as they manage public funds, just like government officials.
Of course the union leaders are not happy and you can see them on TV railing against the government.
While union leaders are the worst example of fake workers, not even in my mother land I have seen this level of mafious engagement, such a big steal of public money... And Argentinian workers seem to not care their leaders stole from them. HOW SO?!
Their populist governors stole from them, their union leaders stole from them... I can understand not liking the other (non peronist) party by virtue of principle, but at least they are more honest in this respect. But when someone pretends to be defending as the weak link and they make a fortune out of it for years, I would expect an uprising. Whereas.... nothing. Indeed, they are still able to stir a crowd.
