After seeing this, I started to consider a move to Pakistan.

I would pay with a foreign card, at least you’d get the close to the MEP card like I do with Adobe Acrobat Pro (it was by accident but worked out well for me)
I will still keep my US Netflix, though!

I do not believe foreign cards work for Netflix. Steam does not allow. Surprised to hear it was possible with Adobe.

I think it was a glitch, because Adobe was asking for an Argentinian credit card (which I don't have), so I put in my Wise debit card details, instead. Somehow this didn't change my country of residence in their books (it shows my US address, but it still shows Argentina as a country), and I get charged in pesos, at the official rate, and then get a refund for a % a few days later. This month it didn't happen, though.
