Maybe Argentina is something of a safe haven from all this shit too close to home in the UK.
Steady on.....we've had to up with loads of shit over the years. Just of a different kind. 
My fear is that the big boys won't keep messing up in someone else's puddle of mud, this time. I am VERY concerned of attacks in Europe from supporter of either side and against the other side.
This is perhaps the first time that there are people from both sides living in Europe, and there have been already marches to protest in favor or one or the other. Plus, they tend to have a crazy ones who take things in their own hands and do a mess (random bomb/shooting etc.)
The big boys who withdrew from Afghanistan? Fighting local tribesmen? Those big boys?
If anyone has any doubt about the horror and indiscriminate slaughter of innocent Israelis by Hamas on 7th October 2023, this documentary reminds us in visceral detail.
Young festival goers were dragged from their cars and shot in the head by laughing and jeering Hamas terrorists.
The documentary gives no explanation as to why the Israeli military took six hours to react, so it leaves many more questions than answers. But I suppose that's not the point of the film, which is truly shocking and certainly lends credence to the opinion of Israel being bent on revenge at any cost.

Horrendous situation. Iran not hiding behind Hezbollah. Israel warring in Gaza, Lebanon; targeting parts of Yemen. Nothing good will come of any of this.
Why are all these participants so opposed to trying diplomacy first?
Initial reports suggest the Israeli air defence system has coped fairly well again but one wonders what alternative missiles Iran might choose to launch instead. Meanwhile Netanyahu isn’t one to sit back and do nothing either.

This has gone way beyond diplomacy with Israel determined to show that it can and will fight for its very existence, regardless of collateral damage and the wider implications.
What we don't want is others, such as the US being dragged into this.
This map helps to put the geography in perspective, showing that Iran must have some very long range missiles.
With no desire to be political or to take sides, I have not been to Israel or Iran but have always wanted to visit Iran. Whilst it’s never been impossible for a Brit to visit it is difficult. It requires booking accommodation in Iran with an approved agent who gives you a reference number to add to your visa application. Etc etc.
The thing about Iran is it is by all accounts a beautiful country with a lot to offer a visitor. The people are very welcoming and hospitable and very forward-thinking with aspirations for a different and more modern way of living.
And ultimately I think that is what the Persians deserve.
